A while back I mentioned a pair of light pink jeans I thrifted and I lamented the fact that they were labelled 'S' for short. In my thrifty ways and my quest to have some spring colored jeans, I thought, "I can make this work". I asked for suggestions on how to make too short pants look like they were meant to be. Well, here is my attempt. I cuffed them and I left them straight down as if they were ankle length pants.
I first wore these pants with a navy blue floral blouse. I never took pictures so when I decided to wear them I knew I wanted to make sure to get pictures. Today I paired them with a white lace detailed tank and a white jacket and tried to add some color with the Kate Spade tote and my favorite metallic gold and floral espadrilles. Maybe next time I'll go back to a more contrasting hue.
I think I really like them best with the leg not cuffed. I am particular about proportions and I think with the cuff and the longer shirt outside the pant makes me look like I have a long torso and shorter legs. That is definitely not the case.
