From a while back

So, I've been very absent from posting on my blog page. I miss it! You know, just life. Prioritizing and focusing. Here is an outfit from a while back.

Nothing out of the ordinary, statement necklaces, stripes, leopard, navy and boots. Just a few of my recent obsessions!

I found this like new Coach Station bag a few months ago at my local Clothes Mentor and just love that it is a USA made Coach and one of the legacy bags they have reintroduced. At $45 I thought it was a good investment.

Perfectly Fall

I literally threw this outfit together on Tuesday morning and was pleasantly surprised on the very fall-ish vibe it evokes.

The grey of the tree bark, the burnished orange color of the leaves, it all coordinated with this outfit. 

I've had all these items for 5+ years, except the shoes, and it is always great when you can take classic items from your closet and make it look modern with a great pair of new shoes!  

Oh, these ankle strapped heels, I splurged and I LOVE them!

Gingham and white

I find one the fastest and easiest ways to get dress and look presentable is by putting on a button up shirt and a pair of jeans. I'm in this combination very often and especially when I'm in a hurry. 

I am currently loving white jeans of all sorts and wore this newly thrifted pair of Gap skinny cropped with a large gingham print shirt from J.Crew, here it appears black but it is really navy and I love the way it looks and feels.

Leather sandals and a leather belt finish off the look and give it all a relaxed but put together feel.

Parisian Chic?

I'm not completely sure what makes me think this outfit has a vibe of Paris in it but, for me: the stripes, the trench and the 'scarf-like beret' all read Parisian.

For me the trench is such a necessary closet staple, you can make so many outfits just work when you wrap one on!

 This was a brave moment for me, I haven't felt very good about my "look" without hair and I am undecided about how to present myself. It seems the scarf wrap works the best, so here it is!

 Leggings and leopard loafers finished off the look.
