Citron and rain

Today it is rainy and not a good day for outfit photos. But, I wore it, so this means I have to photograph the clothes, rain or shine!

I felt a little Aubrey Hepburn in this outfit. And when I say that by no means draw any conclusions that I think I look like her, just quite the opposite: I'm the beast to her waif like beauty.

It's the cropped pants, flats and wide swing style coat that get the comparisons.

Enough talk about Audrey Hepburn, the real star of this outfit is the 100% silk boy shirt from Madewell that I thrifted for $2.00.

Shirt: Broadway and Broome (Madewell)-thrifted and still available here.
Pants: J.Crew Minnie
Trench: Larry Levine (old)
Shoes: Ann Taylor Loft (old)
Necklace & Watch: Walmart

    1. I know I was thrilled when I found it and another just like it. I am lucky to have a couple of small church run thrift shops that I frequent in the college towns I live and work in.

  6. I just got Blythe in Kiwi and at first glance I thought that's what you were wearing. It looks remarkably similar. Great outfit, perfect for a rainy day.

    1. Yes, it is very similar to the Blythe that I have in alabaster. I was unsure of the color...it may have more of a green hue.
