On my feet

A major time lapse from any posts on my blog were taken up by doctor's appointments, self reflection, prayer and healing. This is my first post since my modified radical mastectomy four days ago. I am feeling strong and keeping my soul fed through the love and care of family and friends. I wanted to post these photos to thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

I'm trying to keep a bit of style in my life and this blue gingham boy's shirt was the perfect way to cover up all my bandages and drains. The leggings are easy to lounge in and the leopard slip-ons add a fun touch.

A new Michael Kors rose gold watch, an score!

Shirt: L.L.Bean-thrifted (boy's)
Leggings: Hue
Shoes: Mossimo-Target

  1. You look fabulous!!!!! Love your watch and gingham shirt. Thank you for posting, it's wonderful to get a update. You are inspirational in so many ways!
I keep you in my prayers.

  2. You look lovely! Your spirit is amazing. Continued prayers coming your way!

  3. You look beautiful and your beautiful spirit is shining. I hope you continue to heal well and feel better every day.

  4. Wednesday morning - popping in hoping your recovery from your surgery is going well. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    1. Thank you Kathy! I have my first post operative appointment today, optimistically hoping my drains and staples will be removed:)
I just read your bio and see you are originally from finger lakes region of New York!! Neighbors:)

  5. Most of my family is still in the finger lakes region.... Cayuga lake.
I'm still working on thrifting ( you inspired me to ) but I'm not having much success. I really need a friend who is a great shopper and knows how to put together a wardrobe. I think I must be handicapped in that respect.... I wish we were neighbors I'd be picking your brain for help.
Hoping everything is getting better daily. Thinking of you.
